Becoming a legal government sanctioned neutral helper, and feel terrific about making a difference. This class will allow you to immediately earn upward of $300 an hour as a “Certified Mediator and Settlement Facilitator.” Fees can go as high as $10,000 a day! There are literally thousands of jobs awaiting. IHF members make perfect peace & conflict managers, conflict transformation experts, and interventionists. Neutral mediation is similar to subpersonality resolution and helps people communicate cooperatively to resolve disputes. A federal government mandated service, conflict resolution experts are funded by both the judicial system and private enterprise. Class includes role-plays of simulated disputes, dispute resolution services, intake procedures and the actual dispute resolution proceedings. Upon satisfactory completion you’ll receive your certificate and be “deemed to have met the orientation and regulation mandated training.” This first-ever hypno-resolution approach to problem-solving will assist you in all interactions and satisfies the Classroom Training Requirements of the California Dispute Resolution Programs Act and regulations declared by the advisory council pursuant to Section 471. Once granted, your certificate is good in every state of the US! You can then apply to be listed as a provider in your local court under the Court Panel of Mediators Alternative Dispute Resolution Program (ADR). This course is a pre-requisite for other more specialized training like the arbitration certification. After you register, and if you cannot attend the seminar, you may:
1. Send a substitute.
2. Have a credit memo applied toward another IHF event or dues within one year (12 months). Request a credit memo in writing no later than two weeks before the March 7th event (by February 18, 2008). Refund requests made after February 18, 2008 & before March 5th 2005 will be charged a $100 cancellation fee.
3. No credits or refunds will be given after March 5th.
